After many contests through Europe, Rip Curl chose the central beach in Hossegor to launch the Grom Search European final. After their experiences during the contests in Anglet and Oleron Island; Guillaume and Antoine were called by Rip Curl Europe to assume the whole images production of this final.

The schedule is very tight with only semi-finals in two categories before the 6 finals starting at 11 a.m. They had to deal with hard ocean conditions to realize their pictures and videos. One on the sand, the other one in the water to shoot different point of view, it is the way their day started before the contest moved a little bit south.

With all the heats, Guillaume and Antoine split the tasks, one doing some portraits and interviews on the contest site while the other one is covering what is happening in the water, with some youg surfers of 12 years old only. All of this while sending some images to Rip Curl Community Manager for their social networks update (instagram stories, posts).

Once the last final surfed and the awards done on the central beach in Hossegor, this is time for the pictures selection, with a maximum of 50 for the Facebook album and for the video edit gathering the best images of the day. All of this projected at 6:30 p.m. during a buffet held in the warm Hôtel de la Plage. It is while eating than all the competitors and parents discovered all the images shot a little bit earlier.
