paris photo show 2017

12 November 2017

The Paris Photo Show took place between november 8th and 12th 2017, at the exhibition room of the Versailles Gate. It is the biggest photo show in Europe and the best way for all the photo brands to present and make all the visitors try their lastest products.

Antoine & Guillaume were invited by AquaTech, the waterhousing brand, after their brand new partnership, to present their aquatic work but also to introduce the products and the way they use them. The advantage for the brand? Sell a product through professionnal users without a commercial and this way gain interested people’s trust. The advantage for Antoine & Guillaume? Present their work on the biggest photo show in Europe, share their experiences with random people and meet new faces. The place is perfect to start new relationships and new projects.

After a flight from Biarritz, they started to install all their gear. In their backpack, an Elite waterhousing for Panasonic GH5, a Delphin waterhousing for Canon 1Dx, an AxisGo waterhousing for iPhone 7, lensports for the Leica 12-60 mm f/2.8-4, Canon 24-105 mm f/4, 70-200 mm f/2.8, a splitshot and the zoom gears for hose three lenses and accessories.

Two days of presentation folllowed without interruption. Many people have asked informations about those products, that many of them hadn’t seen yet, and also about their utilisation. Due to their professionnal use, Antoine & Guillaume delivered some important advices to many of them, making some dreams possibles, some of them giving some new ideas to Antoine & Guillaume.

With the obligation of being back on friday night, to cover the Rip Curl Grom Search European final in Hossegor, that was postponed at the last minute, those two days ended with some great meetings including the people from Canon and the head of AquaTech that flew from australia and the United-States for this show, who we talked about marketing and communication for the brand with. It is mainly the feedback about their work that heartned them. Many people were impressed by all the images realized in those conditions, a true blessing for their hears, and a true confirmation of all the work they have done. Hoping to be there next year!
